The Society of Pediatric Liver Transplantation (SPLIT) is a unique multidisciplinary, multicenter consortium focused on optimizing outcomes in pediatric liver transplantation through research, advocacy, and dissemination of best practice in this field. SPLIT is the only such academic body dedicated to pediatric liver transplantation.

The Annual Meeting

  • Participants include hepatologists, transplant surgeons, anesthesiologists, infectious diseases physicians, intensivists, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, as well as nursing and allied health professionals
  • Attracts participants from over 40 national and international pediatric liver transplant centers
  • Previous meeting host centers include: Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine
  • Program highlights include knowledge transfer of current findings in the field of pediatric liver transplantation and incorporating these findings into own practice.
